The home is a three-bedroom Tico farmhouse modernized and upgraded to U.S. standards.  It has a remarkable location overlooking the village of Tronadora and Lake Arena, and has excellent privacy, yet there's only a five-minute walk to the market, hardware, bakery and bus stop in the village while the drive or bus trip to the commercial center, Tilaran, takes just 15 minutes
The kitchen is a great feature in this rental. A driveway curves uphill through fine landscaping to the house.

The house comes fully furnished with well-equipped kitchen and linens for bath and bedrooms.  Two bedrooms have twin beds and the master has a queen-sized bed.  Internet service is available but not television, though this can be negotiated for longer term tenant.  A local gardener maintains lawn and gardens; and property manager lives in Tronadora.
