Lake Arenal and Arenal Volano
The only CRGAR and NAR certified Realtor at Lake Arenal, Costa Rica
H190b The property adapts beautifully to classic Costa Rican terrain
The town of Nuevo Arenal sits mostly on a hilltop between the horse horse training property and the lake.
The home has been built on a knoll which enables a panoramic vista of the lake and mountains as this view from the front patio attests.
A row of red-trunked palms borders the property beside the road up the the gate. A large portion of the property below the house and between the road and a stream is beautifully landscaped.
A paved road passes five other properties to reach this property These views show the landscaping with many tropical plants and trees on the large part of the property that extends along the road below the house.
Safido, who name in English is Saphire, approaches her visitors. The trailer used to transport Safido or other horse to shows and parades is stored in the garage.
Safido is one of three highly trained gaited horses presently on the finca. Inside the secure garage is this horse trailer. The owner is willing to talk with a prospective buyer about inclusion of the animals in the sale.
Behind a part of the property the rainforest shelters a stream in a deep quebrada. This driveway leads to the garage and also turns to the right to reach not only the barn and exercise ring, but also the far promontory and the second entrance to the property.
Some distance behind the knoll on which the house sits, a stream flows through a quebrada or ravine but is hidden by the thick rain forest. It's fine habitat for birds and monkeys.
To the south side of the house, a driveway leads to the garage containing the horse trailer and also turns to the right to reach the barn, exercize ring, and large promontory.
A thick rain forest covers hills and valleys behind the buildings, a significant part of it on finca property. The wide promontory, now used for grazing, is a fine location for other buildings.
Behind (east) of the buildings the finca has extensive rain forest which rises to join with protected rain forest owned by ICE.
The broad promontory, where the horses graze, is reached from the finca's second entrance or from the house.
