The bus service is a short walk away and there are numerous taxis in the area. The villages of Tronadora and San Luis are within easy walks. Along the road there are opportunities to see other animals and birds such as sloths, armadillos, and kinkajous.There are wonderful places to visit within an hour's drive. If your trip includes exploring the countryside, there is everything from zip-lining and river excursions to guided tours of volcanoes. Horseback riding is available within 100 meters. Kayaking, sailing, wind surfing, and other water sports are all near. The avid hiker or bird watcher can’t find many better locations. For those who want to check out the local cuisine, there is everything from typical Costa Rican food to gourmet dining.
