La Cabanga is a village in the Tilaran Cordillera between the lakeside town of Nuevo Arenal and the northern plains town of Guatuso. This is an area of rolling hills with forest and pasture, streams, and the substantial Rio Frio, which feeds the Cano Negro National Wildlife Refuge. The drive from the lake to Cabanga takes less than half an hour. The shorter drive down to Guatuso puts you on the paved roads to La Fortuna and San Carlos. In thse high hills north and south of Cabanga are many large fincas or ranches. For those interested in large properties, we have a selection of properties with open pasture, forest, rivers, streams, springs, tree farms, and crops. Only a few of these are currently displayed on our website. |
